How to Play the Reaction Time Game

Reaction Time Game tests how quickly you respond to a visual signal. Your result is averaged across 5 trials to give you a consistent reaction time.

• Press Play and click the pad to begin.
• Wait for the pad to turn green, then click, tap, or press Space as fast as you can.
• React too early or wait more than 3 seconds after green and you lose a heart. The trial then repeats. Lose all 3 hearts and the run ends.
• Complete 5 successful trials to get your average reaction time in milliseconds (ms). Lower is better.
• Note: Results can vary by device, display, browser, and input method. Use the same setup for comparable results.
