How to Play the Speed Math Game

Speed Math Game tests how quickly you can solve basic arithmetic problems. It is a simple way to test your arithmetic fluency, quick recall of math facts, and accuracy under time pressure.

• Press Play to start a run of 20 problems. You will get 5 addition, 5 subtraction, 5 multiplication, and 5 division problems in random order.
• Type your answer. There is no Submit button. As soon as your answer is correct, the next problem appears automatically.
• Wrong digits do not cost points or strikes. Just correct your answer and keep going, but remember that the timer keeps running.
• Your score is the total time it takes to finish all 20 problems. Lower is better. When you finish, you will also see your average time for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Only completed runs count toward your Best time and the Score Breakdown graph.
